I’m a registered dietitian that loves food, cooking, and helping others reach their health and wellness goals. My husband and I are from Florida. We are currently living, playing, and working out of New Jersey.
Since becoming an RD in the state of New Jersey, I have been working doing nutrition counseling in a private practice physicians office. I enjoy helping others to lose weight, control their blood sugar, eat more mindfully, eat for energy, optimize diets that are restricted, give grocery store tips, and because I love food myself- inspire you with meal and snack ideas to keep you on track. I have experience with weight loss, diabetes management, intuitive eating, cardiac diets, pregnancy, and many other areas.

After working three jobs to barely support myself, I decided it was time to stop talking about going back to school- and to finally do it! I already knew I wanted to be a dietitian; God opened the doors for me when my now husband, then boyfriend was accepted into dental school at the University of Florida. This gave me the opportunity to go to a school that had a dietetics program without having to live in a different city as my boyfriend. We both attended school in Gainesville, Florida and got married in the meantime at Disney World.
I graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor in Science- my official degree is in Food Science and Human Nutrition with a specialty in Dietetics. I had a lot of fun there, and made a few friends along the way! I was then accepted into an accredited Dietetic Internship that was based out of Orlando Florida. My husband and I had to make the tough choice to live apart for most of the year so that I could fulfill my dream of becoming a registered dietitian. It was a tough year, but we made it through! At the same time, my husband graduated from school (it was a windy day and there weren’t any pictures where we both looked decent, he can shine in this one!). He was offered a position in New York.
